Flysurfer Speed4 lieferbar

Lange mussten wir alle warten, bis endlich ein erstes offizielles Zeichen für einen neuen Speed kommt und nun ist es da. Wir freuen uns, euch den nächsten Schritt beziehungsweise Sprung in der Flysurfer Entwicklung präsentieren zu können: den Speed4 in den Größen 8.0 und 10.0 m²!

Eines vorweg: Der Speed4 in 8.0 und 10.0 m² ist unglaublich vielseitig. Denn trotz seines enormen Leistungspotenzials ist der Speed4 in seinem unteren Windbereich einsteigertauglich und im oberen Windbereich eine Sprungmaschine der Extraklasse.

Die Frage nach den anderen Größen des Speed4 ist natürlich berechtigt. Jedoch ist es nicht einfach, ein so außergewöhnliches Produkt, wie den Speed3, zu toppen. Darum brauchen wir noch einige Zeit – und bis dahin bleibt der Speed3 Coloured Edition ab 12.0 m² unser aktuelles Produkt in der Speed Serie. Aber wir sind uns sicher, dass 2013 das Releasejahr für die weiteren Speed4 Größen (12.0/15.0/ 18.0/21.0 m²) sein wird.

Unerreichte Performance – auf Abruf

Ohne Übertreibung: Der Speed4 ist der leistungsfähigste Kite, den wir je gebaut haben. Ob Lowend, Drehtempo, Relaunch, Sprungeigenschaften oder Depower … Fast überall haben wir eine Schippe drauflegen können. Und dennoch ist diese Leistung einfacher abrufbar denn je – und das für jeden Kiter. Das beginnt schon beim Starten: Der Schirm füllt unglaublich schnell und vermittelt vom ersten Moment an Sicherheit. Egal ob voll angepowert oder voll gedepowert, ein Speed4 steht satt und stabil am Himmel. Und dank des ausgewogenen Handlings werden nicht nur Sprünge deutlich einfacher, sondern auch ihre Landungen.

Das Fluggefühl

Es gibt so vieles, was man nicht wirklich mit Worten beschreiben kann, sondern erlebt haben muss. Das Fluggefühl des Speed4 gehört dazu. Ein direkteres und schnelleres Drehverhalten, die Gleitzahl, die man nur von Speeds kennt, der nun extrem kurze Depowerweg, der Lift, die Kontrolle … Allein ein halbes Jahr haben wir nur mit Feintuning verbracht, um dieses Ergebnis zu erreichen: Es fühlt sich einfach großartig an, einen Speed4 zu fliegen.
Simplicity

Unsere Vision ist es, unsere Kites nicht nur zu verbessern, sondern den Kitesport zu prägen. Was bleibt, ist ein einfaches und einfach effektives System. Geringstes Gewicht, kleinstes Packmaß, schnellstes Auf- und Abbauen, enorme Langlebigkeit … Der Speed4 ist effektiver, leichter und kompakter als alles, was wir je gebaut haben. Uns ist es sogar gelungen, die Waage um fast ein Drittel zu reduzieren und eine gesamte Leinenebene wegzulassen. Das macht Kiten nicht nur einfacher, es äußert sich auch in noch mehr Performance.

Innovation

Der Speed4 ist eine komplette Neuentwicklung, basierend auf einer Idee: Ein definiertes Flexverhalten des Profils. Erreicht haben wir dies durch eine neue Kappenkonstruktion und eine stark vereinfachte Waage. Gedepowert bildet sich ein S-Schlag-Profil mit besonders geringem Auftrieb und hoher Stabilität. Zieht man die Bar nach unten, wölbt sich das Profil und der Auftrieb nimmt enorm zu. Diese Technologie ermöglicht eine leichtere Konstruktion mit weniger Luftwiderstand, sowie hocheffektive Depower und hohe Stabilität bei gleichzeitig kurzen Barwegen. Ergänzt wird die neue Konstruktion durch eine Versteifung der Vorderkante, für maximal stabiles Flugverhalten bei böigen Winden und nochmals verbesserte Aerodynamik. Das Ergebnis ist ein Schirm, der nicht nur die Vorzüge des Speed3 auf die nächste Stufe bringt, sondern auch in Sachen Freestyleeigenschaften zulegt.

Die neuen Farben der Speed3 Coloured Edition haben nicht nur uns sondern auch euch begeistert. Darum bleiben wir diesem Leuchten und dem Farbcodesystem treu und bringen den Speed4 8.0 Deluxe in Sonnengelb und den Speed4 10.0 Deluxe in Cyan. Die Standardversionen sind in Rot gehalten. First things first: The Speed4 in 8.0 and 10.0m² are unbelievably versatile. Despite the enormous performance potential, the Speed4 is still suitable for beginners in the lower wind ranges but still a true air-time machine in the upper wind range.

The demand for other (bigger) sizes of the Speed4 is naturally justifiable. Still, it is not so simple to top an extraordinary product like the Speed3. So we still need some time – and until then the Speed3 Colored Edition (CE) from 12.0m² upwards remain within the Speed series. However, we are certain that 2013 will be the release year for the additional Speed4 sizes (12.0/15.0/18.0/21.0m²).
Unequaled performance – at your demand

Without exaggeration: The Speed4 is the best performing kite that we have ever built. Whether in low end, turningspeed, relaunch, jumping characteristics or depower… Almost everywhere we have been able to set new limits. Yet it’s performance is more accessible than ever – for every rider. It starts when you pull up the Speed4: The kite inflates incredibly fast and provides security from the first moment onwards. Whether fully powered up or fully depowered, a Speed4 stays stable in the sky. And thanks to the balanced handling not only your jumps are much easier, but also their landings.
In the air

There is so much that cannot be put into words, but instead has to be experienced. The Speed4 flying feeling is one of those things. More direct and faster turning performance, a glide ratio that you only experience with Speeds, the now extremely short depower throw, the lift, the control…We needed six months just for the fine-tuning the Speed4 in order to reach this result: It just feels plain great to fly a Speed4.
Simplicity

Our vision is not only to improve our kites, but to further shape the sport of kiting. What has remained is a simple and effective system. Lowest possible weight, smallest pack dimensions, quickest setup and stow-away and enormous durability … The Speed4 is more effective, lighter and more compact than anything else we have ever built. We were even able to achieve a bridle that is almost one-third lighter and remove an entire bridle row. This not only makes kiting easier, but results in even better performance.
Innovation

The Speed4 is a completely new development, based on a concept: A defined flex performance of the kite-profile. We achieved this with a new canopy construction and an extremely simplified bridle. Depowered, a reflexed trailing edge is formed with especially low lift and high stability. By pulling the bar down, the profiles bends and an enormous lift increase is created. This technology makes it possible to use a lighter construction with less drag, as well as creating highly effective depower and high stability while simultaneously maintaining short bar travel. The new construction is supplemented by a reinforcement of the leading edge for maximum flight stability in gusting winds and yet again-improved aerodynamics. The result is a kite that not only brings all the advantages of the Speed3 to the next level, but also steps up it’s freestyle performance.

Next to established technologies and features of the past like – Little Connection Lines, Automatic Water/Dirt Drainage System, Triple Depower, etc. – we introduce the following technical features.

Supplementary information

The control bar for these small Speeds is the current Infinity 2.0 Bar in 50cm. The Infinity 2.0 Bar impresses with the easy and safe 2.0 Quick Release and it’s 100% untwisting function.

The new fabric colours of the Speed3 Coloured Edition not only impressed us, they impressed our customers as well. For that reason we will be sticking with these colors and color code system and will produce the Speed4 8.0m² in sunny yellow and the Speed4 10.0m² in cyanblue. The standard versions will remain red. Of course, the matching new Speed4 Bag is complimentary to round off the product range. The Deluxe Version with a classy gold logos and the standard version with a premium silver logos.
